TextLines.Item

Property Item(Index As Long, [Count As Long = 1]) As TextRange

The Item property returns a text range (or TextRange object) containing specified lines. It is the default property of the TextLines class.

The Item property returns a read-only value.


Parameter	Description
Index	Specifies the preset placeholder that uniquely identifies each member of the TextLines collection
Count	Specifies the number of lines. This parameter is optional, and its default value is 1.

The following VBA example creates paragraph text, applying bold formatting to the first line and filling the second and third lines with red.
